Policies and Procedures

Minimum Orders

The minimum initial order amount for a new account is $500.

The minimum re-order for an existing account is $300.00

Credit Policy:

All orders must be paid by Visa, Mastercard, Company Cheque or Certified Cheque prior to shipping.

Until credit is established, all shipments must be prepaid.

Freight:

F.O.B. - Langley, BC for Canada and Blaine, WA for USA.

Shipping dates average one to eight weeks depending on inventory and supply from manufacturers.

Orders are shipped with the cheapest and best transportation unless otherwise stated or arranged by customer request.

We use boxes or skids depending on the size of the order.

Customer assumes liability for any damage if the waybill is not signed "Subject to inspection" or "Visible damage". We recommend you sign ALL waybills "Subject to inspection".

Customer pays for all shipping charges.

Must ship on pallets

Back Orders:

Items temporarily out of stock will be placed on back order or cancelled at Jalisco Imports option unless otherwise specified on the order.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Returns and Claims:

Written Return Goods Authorizations (RGA's) must be requested by the customer and authorized by Jalisco Imports - Customer Service Depart., via phone, prior to return of product. Customer must supply invoice number and date of order.

Product should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Claims must be reported to Customer Service Department within 72 hours of product arrival.

Return Goods Authorization number must be written on the outside of shipping box.

Orders over ninety days old will not be accepted for RGA or restocking.

A minimum restocking fee of 20% will be charged on all products which are returned in its original condition. Marred or damaged product will not be acceptd for restocking.

Interest Fees :

Invoices are mailed, faxed or emailed at the time products are shipped. Accounts over 30 days from date of invoice will be assessed a 2% monthly fee. Accounts over 90 days will be placed on C.O.D.

Returned check/cheque from financial institution marked NSF will be subjected to a $25.00 processing fee.

Product:

Due to the handmade nature of our product, sizes, glaze colours and finishes will vary from item to item. Slight variations are characteristic of handmade products and are not considered flawed. NO TWO PRODUCTS ARE IDENTICAL. This only enhances the unique, hand made nature of our product.
